I was in the mood for pasta today
Clockwise from bottom left: penne with pesto sauce and pine nuts and olive oil that leaked all over my desk (oh the perils of office lunching...), a diet coke, lemon tart and breadsticks in the middle.
Up close and personal with the pasta...Paris is so expensive, just this cost 5,70 euros, aiee!
A lovely slice of lemon tart (3 euros).
and a close up. What a gorgeous lemon color and it tasted good too.
Well fellow lunchers, I won't have the camera tomorrow because my daughter needs it for a school project. Perhaps I will find something interesting for you in my archives...
Happy Lunching!

Hi, I'm a friend of Lisa's from the Bunion group. I've been looking at these lunch pictures and salivating. I could eat a fruit tarte every day and NEVER get tired of them. Great photos--made me seriously hungry. Love the lunch blog.

Lisa, I totally know what a Schlotsky's it. Use to frequent it when I was in high school in Austin.

That is mighty expensive as I can see from plastic fork to container length ratio. Me? Well it's usually the three dollar caesar salad from Schlotsky's (a chain restaurant/deli - nothing spectacular or even southern). Working in downtown Norfolk now so I can actually get a salad to go that is not based on iceburg lettuce.

That lemon tart looks absolutely sinful.
