Presenting this month's guest luncher, Dana
Or, perhaps I will just let her present herself and her husband's wonderful culinary experience:
...Chef Clay - my husband sat at the chef's table and got to see them in action! Smoked Exotic Mushrooms and Angel Hair Pasta with a homemade tasso ham cream. Grilled Niman Ranch Double Cut Pork Chop with caramelized sweet potatoes, tamarind glaze and green chili mole sauce.Amaretto Creme Brulee with Almond Tea Cookie - hubs claims this was definitely the absolute best creme brulee he's ever had...
How I wish I could have been there especially because the food sounds fab but it doesn't hurt any when the chef is really cute
And just check out this extra thick pork chop
the pasta
and for desert a maqnifique crême brulée
As everyone knows, New Orleans (Nouvelle Orléans) was settled by the French and this explains their splendid cuisine.
Now, Dana's husband didn't stop there, he also had some beignets
with a lovely foamy café au lait
mmm...make sure to check out Emeril's and the Café du Monde the next time you are in Nouvelle-Orléans!
Thanks so much to Dana for sharing,
kisses from Paris and happy lunching!
Hi Dana,
I tweaked a little with picasa2 and cropped some and I agree they do look good. Thanks again!

Actually yesterday was Vietnamese...:)
But anyway, thanks for your continued support and please take some pictures or you won't be able to be a guest luncher.
You have a whole month to practice.

I had Chinese for dinner tonight because of yesterday's post. But I forgot to take pictures!
I have eaten at Cafe du Monde, many years ago, back when I traveled, before I had children. Lovely.
